Maegan & Josh | Newagen Seaside Inn Rehearsal Dinner

One of the hardest things about blogging is controlling the number of photos I post. It is soooo hard to narrow everything down, especially when I photograph both the rehearsal dinner and the wedding. I don’t know why it took me this long to start this, but I’m going to split the events so I can post more photos without crashing all your computers!

I can think of no better event to kick this off with than Maegan and Josh’s wedding weekend. The wedding and rehearsal dinner were both at the Newagen Seaside Inn in Southport, Maine (near Boothbay.) It was such an amazing venue. It was so beautiful and having everything at one place made everything super easy on their guests (and photographer!)

Friday night they kicked off the festivities in true New England style: lobster bake, sunset harbor cruise and bonfire complete with s’mores. Here are a few of my favorite pictures from the evening.

Check back soon, wedding pictures by the end of the week!

Michelle & Joe

Michelle & Joe are such a great couple! Their wedding at The Temple was such a blast. Everything was so beautiful and it amazing to see them surrounded by so much love.

The party was unbelievable! Michelle and Joe are both music people and went with one of my all time favorite bands, Kingsized. They kept the party moving the entire night. It is so much fun shooting a great party where people are having an amazing time.

As blog readers must be expecting by now, a big thanks to Stacey Bode for helping me photograph the day.

It has been such a pleasure working with Michelle, Joe and your families. Mazel Tov on an amazing wedding and best wishes in your new marriage!

Ali & Niles

Ali & Niles had quite the hectic wedding planning process!

They were planning on getting married in her parents beautiful house in Buckhead, but then it sold. So, they had to scramble a few months before the wedding to find a new venue. With the help of one of my all time favorite wedding coordinators, Christina Zubowicz with Magnolia Events & Planning, they switched everything over to East Lake Golf Club.

The results were spectacular! Everything came together perfectly and it was unbelievably beautiful. It was so fitting because Ali & Niles are such an amazing couple. They are so laid back and lovely, I’m sure they would have had a great time no matter what happened.

Also included in this post is their charming rehearsal dinner at Canoe. I love Canoe! They did such a good job and it was a great start to a beautiful weekend.

Also, as with all my spring weddings, I need to thank one of my favorite photographers, Stacey Bode. She helped me with all these weddings and it wouldn’t have been nearly as much fun.

Congratulations, Ali & Niles!
